The short version: we receive nothing about your guests. Here is what that actually means.
Where the data lives
Events, guest lists, replies, allergies and table plans are stored in your browser (localStorage) on the device you are using. They are not sent to Pixygon, and we hold no copy. That also means they do not follow you to another machine, and they disappear if you clear your browser data or delete them yourself in the overview.
The invitation links
The whole invitation sits inside the link itself, after the hash sign. Browsers never send that part of an address to the server, so we see neither who is invited, nor who opens a link, nor what they answer. In exchange, anyone holding a link can see the invitation — so share each guest's link with that guest, not publicly.
The replies
A guest replies by sending you a text message or an e-mail from their own phone. The message travels directly between the two of you. We are not in the middle, and there is no database of ours with the replies in it.
Visitor statistics
We count visits to our own pages to see whether they work: page views, where the visit came from, and whether anyone actually sent an invitation. You choose the level yourself in the consent box the first time you are here. The statistics contain nothing about your guests — they cannot, because that information never reaches us.
Deletion
Every event has "Delete the guest data", which removes names, contact details, replies and allergies and leaves the programme and the tables standing, and "Delete the whole event", which removes everything. Both take effect immediately and cannot be undone.
